SENIOR GRANT WRITER CLIENT LEAD

About the role

You will be responsible for the capture and management of opportunities, identifying opportunities, managing the coordination of the proposal process, including tenders, grant applications and have a proactive approach, forming collaborative and strategic working relationships within the internal team, and directly with our clients.  Develop/maintain the tools and resources required to ensure the efficient development of grant/tender applications.

About you

You will be highly analytical and skilled at delivering persuasive writing to a range of audiences. You will pride yourself on your innovation, creativity and ability to conceptualise and bring ideas to fruition.

  • You are a professional business writer, able to create and manage authoritative, well-researched, and well-organised documents, communication pieces, and marketing copy.

  • You back yourself to submit winning funding applications, and you can demonstrate experience in securing revenue from grants and tenders.

  • You thrive in a complex environment where your skills will be called upon to meet competing deadlines for a range of services and regions.

  • You get genuine enjoyment from writing and writing at high volume.

  • You enjoy fast paced work, pride yourself on quality output, and want to contribute to a cause

  • More than five years’ experience of grants and tender writing.

  • Must have experience with grants/tender writing including Smartygrants, Tenderlink and Grant Connect

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Word and Power Point.
